Welcome to St.Theresa's Girls Vidyalayam

I assumed duties as Principal of BT/St.Theresa's Girls' Vidyalayam School on 08.02.2023. Our school is engaged in the work of creating women with excellent personalities with diverse values, adopting the ideas of Mother Theresa. Female students are guided to become high thinkers in order to attain Sri Lanka's national educational goals and basic competencies. In ensuring these, our school teachers and non-academic staff are fully dedicated and working as one team. The school development executive committee, school development association and parents are supporting this. Girls from three child care centers are educated here and most of the parents live below the poverty line. Thus, contributions from donors are expected in school activities. The achievement level of the students in public examinations is high and the school has achieved many achievements in co-curricular activities. The continuous encouragement of Mrs. Sujatha Kulendrakumar, Zonal Director of Batticaloa Zone , and the supervision and advice of Deputy Directors of Education , Manmunai North Divisional Director of Education .Assistant Directors of Education , In-service Advisors and Zonal Education Officers are the basis for the school working towards national level achievements.
